The man that the mainstream media has decided to pump recently in the GOP Presidential race has just taken a major hit. Politico has discovered that at least 2 women in the 90’s complained of discomfort caused by a sexually aggressive and inappropriate Herman Cain, head of the National Restaurant Association at the time. These women left the company, and received a financial payout in return for signing a contract that barred the women from ever talking about the circumstances involving their departure.

Time and again we see that the highest seat of the land, the seat of the US President, attracts the most sophisticated and immoral power seekers replete with hidden treasure troves of past social issues.

When will the mainstream media realize that the one man they vehemently ignore, Ron Paul, is the only man with a consistent, moral, and courageous history of heroism and activism? The one man immune to the search for evidence of flip flopping, hidden evils, and immorality.

Ouch, Herman, Herman, Herman. You don’t need ‘sophisticated’ data or an ‘economic analysis team’ – but a 30 year education in austrian economics like Ron Paul has wouldn’t hurt. Pizza boy economics isn’t going to cut it, and pardon me if I don’t trust your ability to assemble a competent ‘Economic Analysis Team.’ Here’s to wishful thinking that people will pick the 1 guy (ronpaul) out of the 10 options who won’t make the money in my bank account disintegrate (ronpaul). Thanks (ronpaul).

ps. It’s insane that I can’t just make my own educated decision – I have to convince other (economically ignorant) people to please not pick a ruler who will destroy my wealth. How are we in a system that gives other people that much power over us and our wealth?

Ron Paul has been a student of the Austrian School of economics for decades, allowing him and the majority of students in the Austrian School of thought to correctly predict every major economic event of the past century. Ron Paul’s incredible economic savvy has allowed him to see the incredible danger of a central bank like the Federal Reserve, and exactly how it regularly causes booms and busts through its market manipulation.

Herman Cain on the other hand is a student of pizza making and political propaganda. He went so far as to serve as the director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Cain has shown his understanding of economics is abysmal, and his interest in learning the subject is zilch. Cain not only believes what he’s been told, but he adopts that very propaganda as his own platform.

Please America, do not be so foolish as to give the reigns of America to someone as unskilled, naive, and ignorantly cocky as Herman Cain. What really needs to happen is for Herman Cain to sit down for a couple years and let Ron Paul educate him on actual sound economics, banking, monetary policy, and the rest of the genius that Ron has developed over the past 30 years.

America is nearing the depths of economic catastrophe – Ron Paul is the only man capable of protecting you, your family, and your life’s savings. Please be smart.

FBI Director Robert Mueller and Obama

Testifying yesterday in Congress, FBI Director Robert Mueller and National Counterterrorism Center director Matthew Olsen both agreed that the seldom used “lone wolf” provision of the USA PATRIOT Act, a provision which allows broad intelligence gathering of people with no actual terrorism ties, would become much more widely used in the months and years to come.

Indeed, while Mueller claimed the FBI had never once used the “lone wolf” provision, but that US citizens with no actually ties to terror groups pose a “serious national security threat” and would need to be targeted more.

Olsen concurred with this sentiment, adding that such people are “probably the greatest challenge that we face.” The two also agreed that Congress needs to give them even more broad surveillance powers, citing the popularity of Android-based smartphones.

The FBI’s surveillance of Americans remains a serious issue, though the widespread classification of government records means the true extent of the policy may never be known. Thus while Mueller assures that no one has ever been targeted as a “lone wolf,” they continue to target American citizens for lawful activities.

Wolf Blitzer interviews Ron Paul on CNN’s the Situation Room this Friday 10/6. Ron Paul addresses Obama’s ‘millionaire surtax,’ noting that the government has a spending problem, not a taxing problem, as well as the potential for fallacy with mob rule in a democracy. Ron points out that he predicted these very Occupy Wall Street protests we see happening today, as well as the incorrect assessment of Hermann Cain on the issue. Wolf questions Paul on his assessment of the other GOP candidates, and concludes by allowing Ron Paul to give a succinct rebuttal to Newt Gingrich’s praise of Obama for the assassination of American citizen Anwar al Awlaki.

Well known democrat Kirsten Powers meets with Judge Napolitano to discuss the recent revelations that President Obama meets with a secret panel in Washington DC to discuss who should be assassinated, including American citizens like Anwar al Awlaki who are supposed to have due process rights as granted by the US Constitution.

Imagine If Foreign Troops Occupied the United States

Imagine for a moment that somewhere in the middle of Texas there was a large foreign military base, say Chinese or Russian. Imagine that thousands of armed foreign troops were constantly patrolling American streets in military vehicles. Imagine they were here under the auspices of “keeping us safe” or “promoting democracy” or “protecting their strategic interests.”

Imagine that they operated outside of US law, and that the Constitution did not apply to them. Imagine that every now and then they made mistakes or acted on bad information and accidentally killed or terrorized innocent Americans, including women and children, most of the time with little to no repercussions or consequences. Imagine that they set up check points on our soil and routinely searched and ransacked entire neighborhoods of homes. Imagine if Americans were fearful of these foreign troops, and overwhelmingly thought America would be better off without their presence.

Imagine if some Americans were so angry about them being in Texas that they actually joined together to fight them off, in defense of our soil and sovereignty, because leadership in government refused or were unable to do so. Imagine that those Americans were labeled terrorists or insurgents for their defensive actions, and routinely killed, or captured and tortured by the foreign troops on our land. Imagine that the occupiers’ attitude was that if they just killed enough Americans, the resistance would stop, but instead, for every American killed, ten more would take up arms against them, resulting in perpetual bloodshed. Imagine if most of the citizens of the foreign land also wanted these troops to return home. Imagine if they elected a leader who promised to bring them home and put an end to this horror.

Imagine if that leader changed his mind once he took office.

The reality is that our military presence on foreign soil is as offensive to the people that live there as armed Chinese troops would be if they were stationed in Texas. We would not stand for it here, but we have had a globe straddling empire and a very intrusive foreign policy for decades that incites a lot of hatred and resentment towards us.

According to our own CIA, our meddling in the Middle East was the prime motivation for the horrific attacks on 9/11. But instead of re-evaluating our foreign policy, we have simply escalated it. We had a right to go after those responsible for 9/11, to be sure, but why do so many Americans feel as if we have a right to a military presence in some 160 countries when we wouldn’t stand for even one foreign base on our soil, for any reason? These are not embassies, mind you, these are military installations. The new administration is not materially changing anything about this. Shuffling troops around and playing with semantics does not accomplish the goals of the American people, who simply want our men and women to come home. 50,000 troops left behind in Iraq is not conducive to peace any more than 50,000 Russian soldiers would be in the United States.

Shutting down military bases and ceasing to deal with other nations with threats and violence is not isolationism. It is the opposite. Opening ourselves up to friendship, honest trade and diplomacy is the foreign policy of peace and prosperity. It is the only foreign policy that will not bankrupt us in short order, as our current actions most definitely will. I share the disappointment of the American people in the foreign policy rhetoric coming from the administration. The sad thing is, our foreign policy WILL change eventually, as Rome’s did, when all budgetary and monetary tricks to fund it are exhausted.

Breast Cancer Survivor TSA Pat Down

Scott Beale, who runs Laughing Squid, says:

My wife Lori Dorn, who has breast cancer, tells her story about a TSA agent at JFK on Friday who required her to submit to a pat down due to her breast implants, even though she had an identification card for the implants that is used to prove that the implants are an actual medical device. The TSA agent would not let Lori show her the card.

Lori’s first-person account begins:

At what point does the need for security eclipse human dignity and compassion?

Yesterday I went through the imaging scanner at JFK Terminal 4 for my Virgin America flight to San Francisco. Evidently they found something, because after the scan, I was asked to step aside to have my breast area examined. I explained to the agent that I was a breast cancer patient and had a bilateral mastectomy in April and had tissue expanders put in to make way for reconstruction at a later date.

I told her that I was not comfortable with having my breasts touched and that I had a card in my wallet that explains the type of expanders, serial numbers and my doctor’s information (pictured) and asked to retrieve it. This request was denied. Instead, she called over a female supervisor who told me the exam had to take place. I was again told that I could not retrieve the card and needed to submit to a physical exam in order to be cleared. She then said, “And if we don’t clear you, you don’t fly” loud enough for other passengers to hear. And they did. And they stared at the bald woman being yelled at by a TSA Supervisor.

To my further dismay, my belongings, including my computer, were completely out of sight. I had no choice but to allow an agent to touch my breasts in front of other passengers.

At least we proved she’s not a terrorist right? At least Lori still has her freedoms, right?

Wake up people.
